Sabine Carey, Anna-Lena Hönig, and Cosima Meyer are participating at the 60th International Studies Association (ISA) Annual Convention in Toronto from March 27th – March 30th, 2019.

Sabine Carey presents the paperShades of Peace: Perceptions of Security in Sri Lanka” (with Christian Gläßel und Belén González) in the panel Innovative Approaches to Understanding Post-Conflict Contexts. This paper is part of the ERC project RATE (FP7/2007-2013/ERC Grant Agreement no 336019). She acts as a discussant in the panel Regional Studies, Organization(s) & Regime Type and in the Pay It Forward Workshop. Prof. Carey contributes to the Roundtable on Starting and Managing a Public Dataset. She also participates in the meetings of the ISA Long-range planning committee and the editorial board of the Journal of Global Security Studies.

Anna-Lena Hönig presents the papers “What Explains NGO Cooperation in Hybrid Regimes Best? Evidence from a Local Cooperation Network in Kazakhstan” in the panel Bottom-up Approaches to Studying Global Governance and “How to Find a Needle in a Haystack? Identifying Key Dimensions to Increase Teaching Quality with Factorial Survey Experiments” (with Edgar Treischl) in the panel Reflecting on Practic : Approaches to Theory. Anna-Lena participates in the Career Course: Teaching International Relations in a Post-Trust Era.

Cosima Meyer presents the paper “Surviving the Aftermath – Understanding How Military and Political Experience Affect Post‐War Political Leadership” in the panel Post-Conflict Security and Political Development and participates in the Pay It Forward workshop, the workshop From CV to Resume: A Guide for Early Career Scholars in International Relations and the Career Course: Teaching International Relations in a Post-Trust Era.
