Research interests

Professor Dr. König's main academic interests are in the area of comparative political science, legislative research, constitutional formation and European integration. In this context his main focus in on German domestic politics and European Integration. Focal points of his research include the analysis and empirical testing of political bargaining and decision-making processes. The research team is currently working on datasets covering both the procedural details of German/EU legislation and the policy positions of legislative actors.
